Deep under the ground

The centre of the village of Gols is home to wonderful old vaulted cellars which have been built by generations of the Wendelin family.

Here, long-living red wines mature in large traditional wooden barrels  or in barriques of French oak. Our fruity white wines are only aged in modern stainless steel tanks.
During the wine harvest, the ripe and healthy grapes are processed in the wine press above ground.

Modern cellar technology is combined with a wealth of experience and personal commitment which marks the quality of Paul Wendelin’s wines.

Allow to grow and mature, lots of sensitivity and feeling for natural processes in the vineyard and the cellar. Do what’s necessary at the right time – is Paul’s maxim.
